 Our eight state qualifiers had a great showing this past weekend. All eight wrestlers won at least one match (this is a first for us!) and we recorded 10 falls for an extra 20 team points. I have attached the final team standings. We are extremely proud of our 15th place finish as we finished ahead of some great teams and just behind some excellent teams (and well ahead of the other Metro schools.
Devin Wells(215) and AJ Johnson(HWT) were our two state placers with 4th place finishes.
Casey Young, Kelvin King and Jordan Graboyes all made it to the match right before placing rounds.
Congrats again to those wrestlers and to Tommy Malcolm, Andy Gaul and Cody West for all contributing to our success!

 After a not so great round on Friday, our team rebounded on Saturday with a fury at the district tournament. We ended up losing a very close race with Aloha, but our kids battled hard and represented our school with pride. Thanks to everyone that came and cheered our kids on..it was a lot of fun! I have listed the team and individual results below. We did have 5 District Champions and placed 23 out of 28 wrestlers in the top 6! The top three wrestlers in each weight class qualify for the State Tournament this Thursday, Friday and Saturday. (State info below--we would love to see you there to cheer on our kids...please try to sit together so we can have a loud section!)
Team Scores: Aloha 329.5, Southridge 317, Westview 266.5, Sunset 247, Beaverton 111
